Maple procedures in teaching the canonical formalism of general relativity
Dumitru N. Vulcanov,Gabriela Ciobanu
Physics , 2000,
Abstract: We present some Maple procedures using the GrTensorII package for teaching purposes in the study of the canonical version of the general relativity based on the ADM formalism
Organisation of the Influence Factors System for Foodstuffs Lyophilization

Agriculturae Conspectus Scientificus (ACS) , 2007,
Abstract: Optimization of the utilization of the system of foodstuffs lyophilization (freeze drying) presupposes a total analysis of the influence factors systemic model. All the factors that have some direct influence on the lyophilization process and the factors that have indirect influence and are in relation with the optimization criteria were considered. Using the competent opinions of nine experts and after the identification of all the influence factors and their restrictions a method through which an organized system was formed was applied. Finally, the values of entropy system and of the organization level of the factors system were determined.

Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2009,
Abstract: The paper develops a biochemical study on the content of glucides, vitamins and provitamins, playing the part of antioxidants and, respectively, of organic acids in the fruits of Vaccinium myrtillus, Ribes rubrum and Ribes nigrum from the spontaneous flora of the Suceava county. The results obtained evidence a significant concentration of all biochemical parameters under analysis, glucose and fructose representing the most important fractions out of glucides, while - out of vitamins - the ascorbic acid attains the highest levels, especially in the Ribes nigrum species, which evidence the major antioxidant capacity of the forest fruits.

A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE ACTIVITY OF ALANIN-AMINOTRANSFERASE IN HYPOPHTHALMICHTHYS MOLITRIX AND ARISTICHTHYS NOBILIS
Gabriela Vasile,Elena Ciornea,Dumitru Cojocaru
Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2006,
Abstract: The present paper represents a comparative study on the activity of one aminotransferase - alaninaminotransferase, in the digestive tube of Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (silver carp) and Aristichthys nobilis (bighead carp). The enzymatic activity has been determined colorimetrically, with 2, 4 - dinitrophenyl hydrazine, the results obtained being expressed as UE / g / min. It was observed that, comparatively with the alanin-aminotransferase activity recorded in silver carp, in the case of bighead carp, the values recorded are much lower.
ON THE ACTIVITY OF TOTAL AMYLASE IN SOME SPECIES OF THE BROMUS GENUS, DURING GERMINATION
Elena Ciornea,Gabriela Vasile,Dumitru Cojocaru
Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2007,
Abstract: The study discusses the activity of total amylase in the germinated caryopses of the three species belonging to the Bromus genus, namely: Bromus squarossus, Bromus japonicus and Bromus sterilis. Statistical analysis of the experimental results obtained shows that the enzymatic activity is strongly influenced by the germination time, negligible differences being recorded from one species to another.
On the mobilization of reserve starch under the action of glucanphosphorylase in Panicum miliaceum and Bromus sterilis
Elena Ciornea,Gabriela Vasile,Dumitru Cojocaru
Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2008,
Abstract: The main objective of the study was the quantitative determination of the reserve starch and of the total soluble proteins, in correlation with the dynamics of the α-glucanphosphorylase activity from the caryopses, subjected to germination under laboratory conditions, belonging to two graminaceae species from the cultivated (Panicum miliaceum) and spontaneous (Bromus sterilis) flora. The experimental results obtained put into evidence a differentiated dynamics for both the enzymatic activity and protein and starch concentration, as a function of species - on one side - and germination time - on the other.
On the amylolytic activity of Sorghum vulgare
Elena Ciornea,Gabriela Vasile,Dumitru Cojocaru
Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2008,
Abstract: The present investigation follows the activity of some enzymes, involved in the mobilization of reserve substances, namely α- and β-amylase from Sorghum vulgare seeds germinated under laboratory conditions, determined by the Noelting - Brenfeld method, along with the quantitative dosage of the total soluble proteins from tissular homogenates - by the Bredford method, on using the Comassie Brilliant Blue G250 reactive.
ON THE INFLUENCE OF THE TEMPERATURE AND PH OF THE INCUBATION MEDIUM ON THE ACTIVITY OF TOTAL AMYLASE IN SOME SPONTANEOUS AND CULTIVATED POACEAE
Elena Ciornea,Gabriela Vasile,Dumitru Cojocaru
Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2008,
Abstract: The main objective of the present study was to determine the amylolytic activity in the median portion of the digestive tractus in individuals of Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (silver carp) occurring in the first and, respectively, fourth summer of growth, as well as to investigate some morphostructural aspects occurring at this level.
Capitalization of multiple intelligence types during the biology disciplines
Mariana DUMITRU,Stela-Gabriela JELEA
Analele Universitatii din Oradea, Fascicula Biologie , 2010,
Abstract: The study was conducted on a sample of children at the L pu School with classes I-VIII, using the teaching/learning process of the biology disciplines. A key element in applying the theory of Multiple Intelligence in a classroom is knowing the intelligence profile of children. Differentiated teaching approach was designed based on the predominant types of intelligences. For this purpose we used various methods: questionnaire, observation of children as they are given various tasks, interview, development of projects, role play, the biographical method-personal history of child, analysis of activities' results (compositions, drawings, collages, portfolios), debates in pair-groups, and case studies. In child’s profile, (types of) intelligences become qualities that we capitalize in training, designing different teaching approach depending on predominant types of intelligences. The results appeared without delay. After a school's year that we worked differently with the children, they have improved school performance and became more interested in the study of biological disciplines thus arousing their curiosity and respect towards life.
